Panel 2: Global leadership in public and private sector LGBT workplace inclusion

| March 12, 2014

LGBT emancipation is increasingly in the spotlight around the world with strides forward being made alongside the setbacks. However, LGBT topics in the workplace often remain a taboo, even in ‘liberal’ countries, despite the fact that this is an area in which huge progress can be made with very little effort and resources. This panel will look at what is currently being done by governmental bodies and the private sector separately and together on international LGBT workplace emancipation. Can these sectors work more closely? If so, what is the ‘low hanging fruit’ for greater inclusion of LGBT people in the workplace around the world? This high-level panel will put these topics under the microscope and make recommendations on a variety of topics.
